Top Film & Television Apps in Turkey: Q3 2025 Overview

In the third quarter of 2025, the film and television app market in Turkey displayed varied performance trends across the top applications on a unified platform. Here’s a detailed look at the metrics for each app, based on data from Sensor Tower.

CGV from CJ CGV Co.ltd saw weekly downloads at a modest 61 in late July. Meanwhile, weekly active users fluctuated throughout the quarter, peaking at 119 in the week of July 21, before settling at 89 by the end of September.

TodayTix – Broadway Tickets experienced a notable increase in weekly downloads, starting at 134 in early July and reaching a high of 1.8K in mid-August. The app maintained a strong user base, with weekly active users climbing from 904 to a peak of 2.3K in late August.

VOX Cinemas App had a quieter quarter in terms of downloads, starting at 62 and decreasing to 37 by early September. Active users declined more noticeably, from 67 at the quarter’s start to just 18 by the end of September.

Empire Cinemas showed minimal activity, with only a single download recorded in mid-July. Active users remained stable at 12 throughout the quarter.

muvi Cinemas had an interesting pattern with weekly downloads peaking at 91 in mid-August. Active users initially decreased from 69 in early July to 27 by late July, then saw a rise to 88 in mid-August before tapering off to 26 by the end of September.
